Indie film director Donald Lawrence Flaherty announced that his mixed martial arts action-adventure film ‘BRUTAL’ is officially under production. The film promises superior fight sequences created by two of Hollywood’s top stunt performers, Colin Follenweider and Chris Torres.

Irma’s Place Production eagerly announced the completion of principal photography. The film combines science fiction elements with an unearthly mixed martial arts arena.

BRUTAL explores the psychological aspects of Trevor O’Hara, portrayed by Morgan Benoit, as he emerges from a boy into a fighting machine after two decades in the alien arena. Flaherty dabbles with man’s violent nature and the capabilities we have too commit unthinkable acts of violence against each other.

Starring Morgan Benoit (The Forbidden Kingdom), David Mattey (Hancock), Stacy Jorgensen (Grey Skies) and Jeff Hatch.

Once again Flaherty surprises the audience with a well-written Sci-Fi drama that shows the true nature of humanity under alien adversities. BRUTAL is also the feature film for former All-American and New York Giants player Jeff Hatch who stars opposite to Benoit. (AV)
