Josh Fabia has been physical trainer for more than ten years. Josh learned from his grandfather Juan Fabia, a Filipino survivor of the Bataan Death March. Military tradition stayed in his family since then. Josh’s father Romeo Fabia is a Vietnam veteran, due to his fathers’ career Josh grew up in several places, like New Zealand and Japan among others.

Josh’s grandfather taught him the Filipino martial arts, while with his father he learned discipline, shooting, close quarter combat and lots of physical training. It was after his enrolment in St. Johns Military school that Josh showed his worth and soon raised ranks, he was also athlete, football player, wrestling and racing tracks.

After assisting to several seminars and physical courses, Josh decided to start working with people in order to share his knowledge. “It doesn’t matter what I can do, but what I can get you to do.”

Josh is willing to enhance the physical performance of anybody who is willing to do it. Since he received the title of Master of Fitness, given after training over 8,000 soldiers in Fort Benning – USA, he got the expertise with training tests, rehabilitating and recycling injured soldiers.

Ecuadorian military forces had the opportunity to take private courses with Josh. Afterwards Josh decided to stay and teach his abilities to citizens willing to improve their lifestyle. “People must overcome their own mental barriers to reach their potential.”

The training that Josh promotes focus on strengthening the functional core that everyone has. His routine consists in performing a series of exercises that strengthen the whole body, giving it flexibility, balance, and agility. Josh hopes to start an academy soon and motivate people to live a more active and healthier life. (AV)
