Exhibition “Destellos” by Milton Morales in the national virtual gallery of the CCE

The House of Ecuadorian Culture Benjamín Carrión (CCE) and the Núcleo de Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas invite you to the inauguration of the virtual exhibition “Destellos”, by the artist Milton Morales Manosalvas , on Wednesday, September 9, at 7:00 p.m. Through the digital platforms of the CCE (Facebook, Youtube and web) , and the Radio of the House of Ecuadorian Culture 100.9 FM and 940 AM .

This is the thirteenth exhibition that is presented within the framework of the Virtual National Gallery , a project that is part of the #CCEnTuCasa campaign , which exposes each week the work of a plastic artist representing a province of the country. The event is organized by the National Headquarters of the CCE and the Provincial Nuclei.

The artist Milton Morales , being a creator and master of art, in this exhibition develops all the possible techniques of drawing, painting and sculpture and immerses us in his creations with acrylics, oils, pencil, pen and charcoal , applying dactyl-paint , the brush and the spatula, on walls, paper and fabric .

Around 60 paintings will be exhibited in the Gallery with plastic creations that portray the identity of ancestral peoples, the landscape with great realism, famous and religious characters from the social world, and their family, true and historical representations taken from reality.

Juan Sigüenza , curator of the work, states that “the artistic creation of Milton Morales presents a heterogeneous work; it is as if it reflects a multiplicity of ecosystems and identities in the ” diverse paradise “, such as the series in which the flora, fauna and identity are represented, to the range of themes with ancestral and symbolic views that deal with deities or manifestations of what sacred. He works with a temperature, environment, color ”.

Milton Morales , painter, muralist and sculptor was born in the city of Cotacachi, Imbabura province . Currently, he is based in Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas , the province he represents. He studied at the Higher Institute of Fine Arts “Daniel Reyes” in the city of Ibarra , specializing in Painting and Sculpture. He studied at the Equinoctial Technological University where he acquired a Bachelor’s degree in Artistic Pedagogy.

He held the position of director of the Area of ​​Plastic Arts of the CCE, Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas Nucleus . Today he is director of the Center for Art Images . In the artistic field he has held several national and international exhibitions. His tenacious work in art has earned him great recognition within and outside the country such as the Honorable Mention for Best National Artist, awarded by the National Federation of Plastic Artists of Ecuador , among others.

Currently, the artist paints murals and makes sculptures for public places, collectors and state and private institutions nationwide. In Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas he has made the sculptures ” El Marimbero” and “El Shamán” , 5 murals at the Regional Hospital, 2 for the Hesburgh Hospital and 1 for the Hogar Valle Feliz. In the province of Guayas: “The Flying Dragon” , located in the La Troncal water park . In the province of Los Ríos and the canton Pedro Vicente Maldonado made the sculptures of the central park and others that he has worked during the confinement.
