Facebook Will Include “Trending Topics”

Following Twitter footsteps, Facebook has also begun to use the “trending topics” to show the topics that are most discussed in the social network.

The new functionality is already available to some users and will be applied to all profiles shortly.

“Every time your friends talk about a similar subject, Facebook groups those comments in a Facebook status update  and it will say something like “Maria and Pepe are talking about Britney Spears, ” for example, if two or more of your friends are commenting on pop topics, informed trecebits.com.
