A VISION PLAYING HIDE AND SEEK
This fantastic tale it is an example that the soul, prana or whatever energy one is made of survives beyond and sometimes is capable of projecting itself outside the body to announce or warn us of some event to come:
The gentleman who described me this story is now a retired elemental teacher and the vision appeared to him when he was a boy of 8, in Valdivia, a small seaside village, in the Guayas Province, some 60 years ago.
“Like every peasant family of the Ecuadorian coast, mine, after the daily chores enjoyed the moonlight on the first evening hours, used to gather outside our houses to chat with the neighbors and friends and the children like me took the fresh cozy breeze of the summer the same that amused ourselves with some children’s play. One summer night of the past century we were gathered in the center of the town’s park and started to play 50 al Palo * with some kids of the ‘hood. Playing among them was my best friend, Daniel and while some of us were busy trying to hide ourselves anywhere in the park another kid was trying to find us and catch us, it was a very pleasant evening.
Hours went by playing until at some point that I was chosen to find the other kids and then I saw my friend Daniel walking towards me and I ran first trying to get him, but surprisingly at the very moment I grasped him, his body started to slip away but upwards to the starry sky!
I was left there with open arms, I got very scared and told the other kids about it and we decided to stop playing the game. Daniel denied everything I told them, and then I went home weary and sweating cold, thinking on what I saw that give me the shivers.
I did talk to my parents about playing but I skipped that part, after dinner I took a shower and then I fell asleep.
The following morning while I sensed a gloomy atmosphere, my parents told me that my friend Daniel has died in his sleep that same night!
So, I realized that in some way, somehow he was trying to say goodbye to me that night before he died.
Then it enhanced on me the belief that some people, before passing away give some signals of their demise….”
