FARC Released Two Hostages

The liberation of the six hostages that FARC guerrilla announced last week ended today.
The senior police officer, Guillermo Solórzano, and Army officer, Salim Antonio Sanmiguel, members of the Armed Forces of Colombia, were released today and received by a humanitarian mission led by former Senator Piedad Cordoba.
The revolutionary group has had more than 60 hostages kidnapped for political reasons and since 2008, they have released 20 of them, while others have managed to escape from the camps in the jungle and 19 more were rescued by the army.
Sanmiguel and Solorzano came to Cali in one of two helicopters supplied by Brazil and then they boarded a plane to Bogota.
