EcuadorNews:
The Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security (IESS) is already analyzing the reforms to comply with campaign plans of Lenin Moreno, including the increase in Jubilee pensions of farmers.
Richard Espinosa, chairman of the IESS Board, said that these will go from $ 63 to $ 100 and they will submit the bill to discuss it with both the president and the peasants.
Espinosa recalled that the policies of Moreno´s government will be based on “dialogue,” and therefore all actions will be taken in conjunction with the sectors involved. In September last year, there more than 400,000 farmers affiliates in the country, of which 40,000 are retired.
