This afternoon, Bananera Noboa Exporter legal representative, Fernando Alarcon denounced the abuse of political persecution done by the SRI towards the businessman and presidential candidate Alvaro Noboa’s company.

Alarcon also said that in Ecuador there are no guarantees and that the Ecuadorian judicial function lives in a constant threat and persecution by the government.

“SRI as usual threats and chases the judges that do not align with their orders, disrespecting the independence of the judiciary as they have done with the Fourth Labour Court who granted an injunction to Bananera Noboa to prevent the collection of a gloss arbitrary and illegal “, claimed Alarcon.

It also ensures that the injunction is legal and based on the Constitution and can only be raised to consultation by the Constitutional Court. This injunction has been set to stop actions of public power, including the judiciary.

“However,” says Alarcon “the constitutional rights of the company have been completely unknown to qualify no demand, no opening of the trial and ordered to file the process.”
