FIFA: United States Female Soccer Team Defeats Brazil

The United States female soccer league defeated the Brazilian team in the penalty shoots (5-3). The North American team is closer to the finals of the Female World Cup Germany 2011.
After a goal from North American Abby Wambach, both teams reached the end of the match with a score of 2-2. During the penalty shots Ali Krieger scored the final goal that made the American crowd go wild. The performance of Abby Wambach and Ali Krieger will go into the history of the FIFA female World Cup along with Hope Solo, the North American goalie that held the team with two great saves.
The American team will be facing France in the semifinals on Wednesday at Monchengladbach. (AV)
