Wikileaks founder, Julian Assange, remains in the Embassy of Ecuador in London, since last June 19
Wikileaks founder, Julian Assange should not be extradited from Sweden to the United States if there are risks of facing a military tribunal or death penalty, said today the Foreign Minister of Australia, Bob Carr.
Carr said Sydney could not intervene in cases outside their jurisdiction but that Sweden had indicated that Assange would probably not be sent to the U.S.
“Sweden has indicated that it will not extradite anyone facing the death penalty or involved in a matter of military or intelligence services,” said Carr. MZ
