Former CIA Analyst accepts Russian conditions in order to stay

Edward Snowden accepts Russia’s conditions
Edward Snowden, the controversial former CIA analyst expressed this Friday his desire to receive political asylum in Russia so he can stay in the country until he can be able to travel to Latin America.
In order to remain in Russia, Snowden pledged today not to affect the interests of the United States through the information he apparently has. This was a condition imposed by Russia to grant him political asylum.
Snowden “has announced that he knows the condition and that it has been easy to accept it. He has no intention to harm the U.S. because he is a patriot of his own country,” confirmed Russian legislator Vyacheslav Nikonov, after a meeting with the American fugitive in Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport with human rights activists.
