Snowden traveled to La Habana bypassing U.S.
The change in the route from the Aeroflot flight from Russia to South America is on eyes of many nations because it could be that the former CIA analyst, Edward Snowden, who for the past 13 days has been in the transit area of an airport in Moscow.
The Aeroflot flight SU 150 departed for La Habana from Moscow at 14h13, taking off from Sheremetyevo airport as planned. However, during its flight path it deviated from the usual route, reported The Washington Post.
According to the American newspaper the route taken is longer and less safe.
The news site Russia Today reported having interviewed Andrei Sogrin, director of Public Relations Department of Aeroflot, who said he is not authorized to provide passenger information and does not have data on that flight.
