Freddy Olivo, Barcelona’s player, involved in accident that leaves one dead

The player of Barcelona, Freddy Olivo, is being held in one of the cells of the south headquarters of the Transit Commission of Ecuador (CTE), by causing today at 07h38, an accident that left one person dead and another injured.
The victim whose name is Javier Luna Mora, of 52 years old, was hit by a Ford F-150 pickup truck, double cabin, plates PBK-2428, when the vehicle climbed the sidewalk where the now deceased was sweeping the portal of his home.
The inhabitants retained three occupants of the car. Apparently, the truck lost direction and hit the victim and other people, among them Corina Jimenez, 54-year-old, who was taken urgently to the hospital of the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security (IESS), in the South of the city, with wounds in the head and spine.
Witnesses said the occupants of the truck were under the influence of alcohol and that they found beer bottles. The body of Luna was taken to the morgue of the CTE, where relatives were waiting for him. It is unknown who owns the truck involved in this event.
Eduardo Campusano, member of the managing staff of Barcelona Sporting Club, told CRE radio: “I am very sorry for what is happening (Freddy Olivo).” We hope that the issue does not get more complicated.”
