Fundamedios: Censuracom.ec will gather abuses against the press

The defense of freedom of expression is the watchword. The Andean Foundation for the Study and Observation of the Media (Fundamedios) presented yesterday in Quito the Censuracom.ec website.

The executive director of the Foundation, Cesar Ricaurte, said that through the new platform a report on freedom of expression will be presented in 2016.

The portal contains, on its home page, five cartoons of personalities, that according to Fundamedios executives, affected more the press freedom: President Rafael Correa, the superintendent of Communication Carlos Ochoa, State officials Richard Espinosa and Fernando Alvarado and the Mayor of Loja José Bolívar Castillo.
