The Ministry of Transport and Public Works resorted to a Dutch company to promote, in the world, investments in what would be the Deepwater Port of Posorja.
This will be done on the basis presented by the DP World (DPW) company -the first interested and initially associated with Alinport- and that proposes how would this infrastructure be, which will compete with the one that operates from the south of Guayaquil.
In two letters forwarded to the former undersecretary of Ports, Jose Chamorro, project managerJan-Wille Jongbloed answers several concerns of the government agency, where he mentions issues such as the access channel dredging, the freight movement, technical aspects of the infrastructure equipment, the length of the docks and even the risk of seismicity.
