Gallegos Announces Regularity in Consular Operations Between Ecuador and the U.S.
According former ambassador of Ecuador in Washington, Luis Gallegos, the situation between the United States and Ecuador will be neither the first nor the last to occur in the history of diplomatic relations and that despite the controversy relations with U.S. have not been entirely broken.
Gallegos said in a television station that consular operations continue normally and migration policies will continue their everyday activities, so there should not be xenophobic reprisals from the authorities.
