Galo Chiriboga was Elected as the New Attorney General

After a long contest of merits and oppostion, Galo Chiriboga was elected as the highest authority of the Ecuadorian Attorney General’s Office. The Council of Citizenship and Social Control made the official announcement that Chiriboga will be replacing Washington Pesantez.
The process of election lasted six months. The results were notified to the National Assembly by the Main Assembly member of the Participation Council .
Immediately after, Chiriboga began with a private agenda in his office. (AV)
