Germans find that drinking water helps lose weight
Posted On 30 Aug 2013
After an exhausting research in the university hospital Charité in Berlin, a group of German scientists certified that drinking more water than usual supplements weight loss if dieting.
The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition said in its publication that consuming water enhanced the weight loss.
Rebecca Muckelbauer, who heads the team of scientists says that “although the diets usually recommended to drink plenty of water, until now there was no scientifically based recommendation”.
Studies seniors who increased their average water consumption showed that increasing a liter a day, lost weight between one and two kilograms more than the control group, which remained unchanged the amount drunk.
