Giant Puppets take Hugo Chavez place on electoral meetings

The Venezuelan ruling party uses all resources such as giant puppets, recordings, Twitter messages, audios, videos and other, eager to represent their top leader, President Hugo Chavez, who is convalescing in Cuba for treatment of cancer.

On the eve of the election campaign, several giant figures of Chavez, brought from China and were distributed by the country’s parliament to certain government groups, adorn balconies of the streets of Caracas.

Since Chavez began to fight cancer, he was forced to reside in Havana, limiting his public appearances. Now there are four months left to begin the elections in which he will participate as candidate against Henrique Capriles.
