Gisele Bundchen says goodbye to the catwalk
In an interview with the newspaper “Folha de Sao Paulo,” the Brazilian model Gisele Bündchen said she will retire from the catwalk because she wants to get involved in new projects and she also ensured she now listens to her body.
“I learned to feel my body. Automatically my body tells me if what I do is worthy and it asked me to stop. I respect my body, I have a privilege to be able to stop,” said the model, who began her career at 14 years old.
Her last show will be during the summer 2016 collection of the Colcci brand during the Sao Paulo Fashion Week. “I look at my career and I feel very accomplished. It is the gradual process of the end of a cycle,” said Bundchen regarding that episode of her life.
The model said she also wants to devote more time to her family and to agree with the new French law that requires models to have an adequate percentage of body mass.
