Tie between Barcelona and Libertad, disqualified the yellow team from the Copa Libertadores tournament

The yellow team drew 1-1 against Club Libertad at the Nicolas Leoz stadium of Asuncion, in the Paraguayan capital, being automatically removed from the group 7 of the Copa Libertadores tournament.

With a goal of Ely Mat, at minute 9, thanks to a left pass by Brahian Alemán, the “torero” club gained superiority in the field. At minute 38, a freekick from Jorge González almost matches the score of the game.

Midfielder Matias Oyola was expelled from the field at minute 52, making the “Ídolo del Astillero” playing with only 10 men. At minute 57 a header from defender Pedro ‘Ganso’ Benitez gave the expected score to the “gumarelo” team.

Libertad will confront Atletico Nacional of Colombia, while Barcelona will play against Estudiantes of Argentina on April 21.
