Google Launches its New Smart Glasses ‘Google Glass’
Posted On 07 Apr 2012
The Google company will make their first dive in portable computing devices with the “smart glasses“, currently being tested and probably on sale later this year or early 2013.
These glasses allow the user to record, photograph or video-conference, as stated by the company in its blog through Google Plus, which shows some of its employees testing the new smart glasses, light-looking, adaptable and crystal-clear.
The unit has a tiny camera on the right sideburn of the glasses capable of collecting outdoor and indoor locations of the wielder, taking photos or videos, or receive and send multimedia messages.
The glasses are a standalone device, it will work with the Android OS, and can be controlled with simple head movements. (ARL)
