Government offers reward for information of the people involved in 30S

The Interior Ministry offers a $ 50,000 reward for information of ten people, allegedly involved in the police riot of September 30, 2010.

The reward idea already generated a first result,  three have been identified. A video of 51 seconds, which has been transmitted from last week on the seized tv channels TC Television and GamaTV, that shows some scenes from the riot and the phrase “Wanted”, and also shows the faces of some people, including uniformed officers.

In the video, the announcer asks the people to help identify those who are enclosed in a red circle, and appear in several scenes. It offers two phone numbers for denouncing actions.

President Rafael Correa said yesterday that the propaganda was so efficient that there are already three identified. Until now, the Ministry is verifying the first fifteen calls.
