Guayaquil Celebrates its Festivities With Parades

On Malecon Simon Bolivar and the Malecon 2000, the main tourist center of the city of Guayaquil, hundreds of people mobilized to see the parades for the celebrating the 476 year anniversary of the Pearl of the Pacific (Guayaquil).
The Transit Commission of Ecuador (CTE) paraded along the avenue on the shores of the Guayas river. Hundreds of Guayaquil citizens were able to see that police officers’ motor spins on their bikes and different rescue patrols are used in traffic accidents. Also paraded aspiring vigilantes are part of the training schools of the institution.
The traditional nautical parade which will include 46 vessels on the river Guayas is scheduled for this afternoon. The boats will leave from Industrial Molinera to Cerro Santa Ana.
