Guayaquil Citizens Received Jewelry Workshop
Traditional training is among the many aids that Crusade for a New Humanity Foundation (FCNH for its Spanish acronym) provides to Ecuadorian people.
For over 20 years, social guides of Crusade have been the responsible ones for overcoming the most vulnerable communities in Guayaquil in order to convert them into micro entrepreneurs.
This time, the help came to the south of Guayaquil city, in La Fragata neighborhood where a family decided to join together their neighborhood to make a .
This three months project was led by Professor Cecilia Guevara Pazmiño, who has more than 10 years of experience performing these handcrafted jewelry workshops.
After several hours of practice, and teaching aids granted by both the foundation and by the students, the result was satisfactory: Dozens of necklaces, bracelets, and earrings of good taste and excellent quality. An exhibition to display their jewelry will be their next step, now as micro entrepreneurs.
