Guayaquil Citizens will Choose the 7 Main Attractions of their City
The Municipality of Guayaquil and the Shopping Centre Mall del Sur will present on Thursday a campaign called Choose the seven wonders of Guayaquil, which will invite the public to vote for their favorite places of Guayaquil as part of the commemorative city festivities of July.
The options include: La Torre del Reloj, Malecón Simón Bolívar, Malecón Del Salado, Centenario Park, Seminario Park, Forestal Park, Las Penas Neighborhood, the General Cemetery, the Metropolitan Cathedral, Hemiciclo de la Rotonda, the City Hall building and the image of the Sacred Heart in Cerro Del Carmen.
Leticia Garcia, marketing manager for the Mall del Sur added that this will allow the growth of tourism and the promotion of historical, cultural, natural and entertaining spots.
An amphora will be place in the Mall to cast the vote from July 1st to 25th. It will be also possible to vote through the social networks. (BG)
