Guayaquil gave 10 Latin American Green Awards to ecological enterprises

The Latin American Green awards ceremony took place last night at the Hilton Hotel, where ten contestants of different nationalities were rewarded in 10 categories.
The Ecuadorian project Public-Community Alliance was the winner in the Water category; In the Biodiversity and Fauna category, the award was for the Conservation of Turtles, from Mexico; In the Forests and Flora category, the award was forthe Peruvian project Gastronomy and Conservation.
In The Human Development, Social Inclusion and Reduction of Inequality category, the prize went to Chile with the Friend of the Earth Role initiative. In the Energy category, the award went to the Colombian project Barefoot College. The Sustainable Finance award went to BanColombia, and the Urban Management award went to Uruguay, with a Sustainable School.
The Solid Waste Management category was awarded to the Bolivian initiative Polymeric Materials for Construction (Mamut), The Oceans category was awarded to the Mirim Coastal de Brazil project, and the Responsible Production and Consumption category was awarded to Peru with Evea EcoFashion. (I)
