GUAYAS- GUIA SURFISTAS-ECUADORTIMES

The prefecture of the Guayas province presented a digital surf guide, with the idea of developing the potential of the province as a specialized destination.

In the 89 pages of the guide, which can be downloaded at www.guayas.gob.ec/turismo 16 ideal points for surfing are identified. La Botella (Puerto Engabao), The Point, Paradise Beach, El Pelado and El Faro are the beaches that stand out in the guide.

William Apolinario, of the Municipality of Playas, considers that the document will be an opportunities door for the coastal town.

The guide has a didactic content for those are just starting in surf, as it includes explanations about the types of surf, implements, parts and table types. Each of the spots to practice this sport comes with data on the level of surfing that can be done, swell directions and bottom conditions.

As part of the launching a championship took place, in which experienced surfers showed their maneuvers.
