Hong Kong workers return to their activities after partial withdrawal of protesters
Hong Kong has recovered this Monday the work activity, after the partial withdrawal of the pro-democracy demonstrators on the streets of the city.
Several streets in the city center are closed to traffic and many bus lines have been altered or suspended, however the majority of workers has returned on Monday to their jobs and many schools have reopened.
In front of the complex that houses the seat of government and the autonomous administration, just a few hundred protesters remained, which did not prevent officials employees getting back to work.
Meanwhile, the Federation of Students has set a deadline, of “two or three days,” for a meeting with officials to enable the preparation of a possible dialogue with the number two of the executive, Carrie Lam.
