El Oro Governor Rocío Barriga faces the multiple questions that have arisen from both the Peruvian and Ecuadorian sides on the concrete wall the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing (Miduvi) builds on the right bank of the Zarumilla channel, on the border between Huaquillas (Ecuador) and Aguas Verdes (Peru), leading a small impasse between the two countries.
Complaints and censorship of what has been compared to the wall built by US President Donald Trump on the border with Mexico continue to come from different fronts and the representative of the central government came to Huaquillas Tuesday to explain the scope of the project (a linear park) under construction.
Mario Chamba, president of the Chamber of Commerce of Huaquillas, questions the fact that the linear park project had not been socialized with the inhabitants of Huaquillas (I).
