Hugo Chavez returns to Venezuela
The president of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez, said through his Twitter account that he has returned to his country from Cuba, where he traveled last December 10 to receive cancer treatment. The president will continue to receive attention for his condition, in his country.
“We have come back again to our homeland Venezuela. Thanks God!! Thanks beloved people!”.
According to Vice President Nicolás Maduro and Communications Minister Ernesto Villegas, the return of the Venezuelan president is real and occurred at 2:30 am on Monday.
There are no updates about Chávez´s health status since he returned to Venezuela, however, it will be reported in the upcoming days.

Henrique Capriles:
Through his Twitter account, the opposition leader Henrique Capriles welcomed the president, and said he hoped “his return will generate sanity” in his government.
Capriles emphasized that “the return of the President means that Mr. Maduro and the ministers get back to work” and that “is final and means the immediate cessation of #PaquetazoROJO” (red package) referring to the decision of the Government to devalue the currency by 32% in relation to the dollar.

In a letter published by the Cuban News Agency, former President, Fidel Castro, celebrates Chavez´s return to Venezuela after “a long and agonizing wait.
