Indalro, Tecnofundición and Umco exhibit pots for induction cookers
The Indalro, Tecnofundición and Umco factories exhibited the prototypes of pots and pans for induction stoves.
Alirio Rosales, Manager of Indalro, said that they will begin with the production of its vessels between the 15 and 20 of September and initially plan to produce from 1,000 to 2,000 kits with an investment of $ 150,000.
Rosales expects that late this month the products should start being marketed in stores.
Tecnofundición will aply this Thursday for a loan to the National Finance Corporation, to ask for funding in order to produce pots and pans.
Jorge Minda, of Tecnofundición, said they require at least $ 100,000 as working capital for the production.
Elizabeth Gaibor, Head of Marketing of Umco, announced yesterday that in two weeks their products would be on the market.
The benchmark retail price corresponding to the seven pieces is $ 35 (excluding VAT).
