Induction cookers will cost between $ 156 to $ 680

cocinasinducciónThe prices for induction cookers will be between $ 156 to $ 276 (2 Stoves), from $ 254 to $ 326 (3 Stoves), from $ 243 to $ 318 (4 stoves) and the 4 stoves  with electric oven from $ 585 to $ 680 ; according Ramiro González, Minister of Industry and Productivity (MIPRO) who also announced yesterday that 12 qualified companies will sell and  manufacture the electric stoves since August.

The 12 industries that were certified are Ecasa: Ferromédica: Electrococ SA, Consorcio Ener Inteco, Fibroacero, DME, Mabe, Kangle: Haceb: Induglob: Motsury and Goldenage. 13 companies were submitted, but only one did not obtain the certification.

González said that the companies complied  the technical standards of quality. He said that one of the requirements is to contain domestic inputs, but not ruled out that there are kitchens with imported inputs, but these will be assembled in the country. The companies will present 27 models to market.
