Industrialists handed proposals to the Government

The National Federation of Industries of Ecuador delivered yesterday to the Minister of Industries, Eduardo Egas, a proposal for the development of sustainable enterprises in the country.
Suggestions to boost from the public and private sector local production, investments, a fiscal covenant and measures to sustain dollarization, among others, were raised in eight points.
Richard Martinez, president of the guild, who presented the document in the XII Industrial Congress, said that with the support of the International Labour Organization (ILO) made a diagnosis of the variables that affect the business climate. He added that from 555 companies surveyed, 50% said that this climate is “regular to bad” due to changes in policies.
