The Culture Act establishes a call for elections in 120 days for the organizations that receive public funds. In the last twoCCENG elections 355 members have voted.
In the rendering of accounts, the president of the Guayas nucleus, Rosa Amalia Alvarado, declined to run for re-election. “It must be emphasized that this has not been nor is it an exclusive House.” According to Alvarado, there are doubts about the autonomy of the institution.
