EcuadorTimes spoke with Jaime Rull, Horitzo Grup CEO, who has organized in record time this show called “GUAYAQUIL GASTRONÓMICO”, which promises to be a delightful culinary experience.
The first room of this gastronomic tour includes a tasting of traditional and even ancestral dishes of Guayaquil cuisine, presented by several restaurants in the city.
The second section comprises the Ecuadorian gastronomy in general. Dishes from different Ecuador provinces are lead by each municipal government and its cooking schools.

Coffee tasting
The tour continues into tasting spaces. There will be stands specialized in cheese and coffee, where you can see the entire process of harvesting and production of these foods. One will have the option to buy products.
GUAYAQUIL GASTRONOMICO also offers its visitors the option to learn a little about international cuisine. Around eight countries are confirmed to present their signature dishes.

Seafood and Shellfish
Markets will be the alternative element that this show offers, organized by the Office of Guayaquil Markets. You will be able to find variety of tropical fruits, seafood and shellfish, meats, vegetables, etc.; everything that we use daily at home or restaurants.
This pavilion will also feature a number of companies that import wine, beer, and canned products.
The Fair “Guayaquil Gourmet” will take place from June 29th to July 1st at the Guayaquil Convention Center. Free admission.
