Interpol Asks to arrest the founder of WikiLeaks, Julian Assange who published U.S. secrets cables in the last days, which caused chaos in global diplomacy
The international police organization sent a “Red Notification” to 188 states against WikiLeaks founder, because, Assange has a research for “Violation and sexual assault” in Sweden.
“There is a ‘red notice’ public from Sweden,” a spokesman for Interpol said to the AFP.
The organization received from Sweden on November 20 arrest warrants for extradition.
The “red notices” are used to request the provisional arrest with a view to extradition of a wanted person, and are based on an arrest warrant or a court order.
