Jimmy Jairala will run for the prefecture reelection in Guayas

The politician confirmed yesterday that he will run for the reelection in the Sectional Elections to be held in February 2014. The announcement was made during the Movimiento Centro Democratico Convention in the north of Guayaquil.

“I’ll go to the re-election for the 2014 elections” and “alone or with a political alliance; Guayas has a prefect candidate,” said Jairala.

With the announcement, Jairala becomes the first candidate for the position, pending the pronouncement of the ruling party Alianza PAIS; of Guillermo Lasso, CREO, which was the second largest party in the last elections; of the PSC-Madera de Guerrero alliance, whose political stronghold is Guayaquil and Guayas, and other parties and movements.
