The presidential candidate of the National Action Party (PAN for its Spanish acronym), Josefina Vazquez Mota, made a rare appeal to voters during her campaign events last weekend at the State of Mexico. She urged women to condition sex with their husbands if they do not go to the polls.

Josefina Vazquez Mota ensures that each of her tours, she has meetings between different genders, in which she talks about how difficult is to be a candidate, and how she gets more questioned than men. She also recalled the anecdote with the former president of Chile, Michele Bachelet, who advised her to “never govern with a mustache.”

16 days remain until the Presidency elections begin, and if Vazquez Mota wins, she would be the first woman ever to be elected as President in Mexico. (MZ)
