Posted On 26 May 2011

Luis Moyano, judge of the First Room of Criminal Guarantees of the National Court of Justice ruled in favor of Fernando Alvarado Espinel, as a final ruling in the trial brought by Fabricio Correa because of slanderous allegations against him.

Alvarado, National Secretary for Communication, was prosecuted for filing a letter to CNN in which he accused Fabricio Correa of having entered into contracts with the State violating the law and using proxies.
