Judge Robalino will set the date for the hearing against Pedro Delgado

Judge Vicente Robalino
Following the request made by the Attorney General to the National Court of Justice (CNJ), to set the day and time for a hearing against Pedro Delgado Campana, former president of the Central Bank of Ecuador (BCE), for the alleged crime of ideological forgery, the raffle determined that the case will be handled by Judge Vicente Robalino.
Robalino shall set the day and time of the hearing, in which the Attorney General, Galo Chiriboga, will present the evidence of that crime, based on a complaint made Assembly member Enrique Herreria in November of 2012.
The false title and other documentation were delivered to the Prosecutor’s Office from his pair in Costa Rica, a few weeks ago. Delgado used the fake title to access different jobs and to obtain a master’s degree in Business Economics at the Central American Institute of Business Administration (INCAE).
Currently, Pedro Delgado, cousin of the President of Ecuador, resides in Miami (United States), to regulate immigration status.
