Kate’s Parents Met Queen Elizabeth II

Kate Middleton’s parents, Carol and Michael Middleton, met on Wednesday Queen Elizabeth II and her husband, Prince Philip, Prince William’s grandparents, at a lunch hosted by the Queen at the Windsor Castle.

A Buckingham Palace spokesman said it was a “small gathering, only the queen (her husband) the Duke of Edinburgh, Mr. and Mrs. Middleton and maybe another small number of people”, were possibly in the royal household, said a spokesman for Buckingham Palace.

Michael Middleton, 62, and his wife Carole, 56, former employees of the airline British Airways became millionaires through the mail company founded in 1987, had coincided with the Queen ever but had not been formally introduced.
