Katy and Russell Got Married

Katy’s teenage dream came true the moment English comedian Russell Brand proposed to her. They celebrated their wedding over the weekend at the Aman-i-Khas luxury resort in Rajastan, India.

A rep for the couple confirms “The very private and spiritual ceremony was attended by the couples’ closest family and friends. It was performed by a longtime friend Christian minister for the Hudson Family. The backdrop was the inspirational and majestic countryside of Northern India.”

According tradition, Brand arrived on an elephant to the wedding site where he greeted his bride, who wore a dove gray Elie Saab gown.

After Perry,26, and Brand,35, said yes, cheering, chanting, and Rajasthani folk music could be heard throughout the resort.
