American singer Lady Gaga arrived last Friday to Taichung, Taiwan as part of his Asian tour to promote her latest album “Born This Way.” In the island, Gaga gave a concert for 4,000 people who were selected by lot at the park in this city.
Due to the excitement caused by Gaga’s visit to this city, it was declared yesterday as “Lady Gaga Day” to honor the presence of the artist in the country.
The municipality of Taichung gave Gaga a portrait of a Chinese-style painting by artist Chen Hua, which “symbolized the fusion of East and West elements” that characterizes Taichung. Mayor Jason Hu, handed the singer the keys of the city. (BG)
