Skype Video Calls On Facebook

Posted On 06 Jul 2011

Thanks to a strategic alliance with Skype, the most popular social network in the world recently implemented video calling service to its millions of users.

The service is built on Skype’s infrastructure and could operate from the desktop screen, to use the service, users have to install a plugin first.

This alliance would give Skype access to over 700 million active users on Facebook, and Facebook will have one more service to compete with Google +, which already offers video conferencing. (MS)
