Lady Gaga was Asked to wear a Lettuce Dress

Posted On 28 Oct 2011

Lady Gaga is currently in India to perform at the first Formula One event’s after party on Sunday. So PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) India has requested her to wear a dress made out of lettuce.

PETA sent a letter to Gaga’s publicist hoping that the singer helps them promote vegetarianism.

“If she agrees, we’ll make her a dress entirely of lettuce and held together by pins and threads. It will be a full length gown, and we’ll make sure it looks sexy,” a member of PETA India said in the letter. The group is also offering a person to spray water on the gown “so that it doesn’t wilt.”

Gaga has not answered the request but when she was asked what she was going to wear on the event, she said she did not want to “spoil the surprise”.
