Lara’s defense interposes habeas corpus and dilates his extradition to Ecuador

The defense of former Assemblyman Galo Lara has filed a second appeal in Panama in favor of the former parliamentarian, so his extradition the date of Ecuador is not yet concrete.
To the warning of unconstitutionality raised a week after his arrest on 8 June, a writ of habeas corpus was added. According to one of his lawyers in Panama, Jose Brandao the resources meet the legal and constitutional requirements of Panama.
Brandao said that the first action, warned the possible constitutional offense, if the extradition request of Ecuador is resolved without formally notifying the affected defense.
Former Assemblyman faces a sentence of 10 years imprisonment for the crime of murder.
