Legal uncertainties regarding the deportation of Cubans

The Government contends that the deportation of Cuban citizens in irregular immigration status was made in compliance with the due process and respecting their HHRR. foreign lawyers disagree.

They believe that there would be at least four constitutional violations. Juan Pablo Alban, one of the defense lawyers, said that the case against the islanders throws into question what has been many times proclaimed by the government on universal citizenship.
