Libyan Former Oil Minister found Dead in Vienna

Shokri Ghanem, the former Oil ministry of Libya was found dead last Sunday in the Danube River in Vienna, Austria. Ghanem was a member of Moammar Gadhafi government, however he deserted the country after the opposition and NATO cornered the deceased Libyan leader.
Ghanem corpse was found floating in the Danube river wearing normal cloths. According to his daughter, Ghanem left the house on Sunday morning. Roman Hahslinger, spokesman of the Vienna police said that authorities are waiting the autopsy results to determine the cause of his death.
Last year when Ghanem abandoned Libya, he told CNN in Rome that the suffering in his country was intolerable. (AV)
