Liga Out of the South American Cup
The argentinean team Independiente de Avellanada put Liga de Quito out of the South American Cup. Now, the argentinean team will dispute the title with the Goias. Just few minutes after the end of the game, the Avellanada team got themselves a spot in Copa Libertadores yesterday after defeating Liga de Quito.
The players Facundo Parra and Hernan Fredes made two scoring points. The team has earned the victory of Copa Libertadores on seven occasions. Meanwhile Juan Manuel Salgueiro from Liga de Quito scored the visitor point. Although many of the Liga players had minor injuries, they controlled the field during the first time of the match. Avellanada Team had difficulties arriving to the goal area of Liga, until the player Parra scored the victory goal with his head.
When the final whistle of the referee put an end to the game, Liga de Quito said farewell to Copa Libertadores de America.
